Insurance & Fees
Helping you understand your insurance and payment options before your first visit.

Choosing the Right Care for You
Every patient comes to Free Flow Health with different goals, whether that's finding relief from pain, navigating perimenopause, improving fertility, reducing stress, or supporting overall wellness.
My goal is to provide individualized care based on your health and your goals while helping you understand the insurance and payment options available to you.
Every patient deserves clear information, individualized care, and treatment recommendations based on their health—not simply what an insurance plan may or may not cover.

I accept select insurance plans; however, coverage varies from one plan to another. Most insurance plans that include acupuncture benefits primarily cover pain-related conditions.
Concerns such as perimenopause, menopause, hormonal health, fertility, stress, anxiety, digestive health, insomnia, and general wellness are often not covered, even when acupuncture benefits are available.
If you're unsure whether your visit is likely to be covered, I'm happy to help you understand your options before scheduling.
Using Insurance
My goal is to provide the care I believe gives you the best opportunity for lasting results while being transparent about your insurance and payment options from the very beginning.

Frequently Asked Questions
A few answers to the questions I hear most often.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I am in-network with select insurance plans. Coverage varies depending on your individual plan and the reason you're seeking treatment. If you're unsure whether your visits are likely to be covered, I'm happy to help you understand your options before scheduling.
Why isn't my condition covered if I have acupuncture benefits?
One of the biggest misconceptions about acupuncture insurance is that if your plan includes acupuncture benefits, you can use them for any reason. Unfortunately, that's usually not the case.
Coverage depends not only on your individual insurance plan, but also on the condition being treated. While many plans cover acupuncture for pain-related conditions, they often do not cover care for perimenopause, menopause, fertility, stress, anxiety, digestive health, sleep concerns, or general wellness.
Do you verify insurance benefits?
Yes. Insurance benefits are verified as a courtesy before your first appointment whenever possible. Please keep in mind that benefit verification is not a guarantee of payment. Your insurance company makes the final determination of coverage based on your individual plan and the services provided.
Are there any costs beyond my insurance copay?
Depending on your insurance plan and the reason you're seeking care, there may be services that are not covered by your insurance. If this applies to your treatment, I will review your options and any associated fees with you before your appointment so there are no surprises.
Do you offer treatment packages?
Yes. Many conditions respond best to a series of treatments rather than a single visit. Treatment packages reduce the cost per visit while encouraging the consistency that often leads to the best results. Package recommendations are discussed after your initial evaluation based on your individual treatment plan.
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
In many cases, yes. Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can often be used for acupuncture services. If you have questions about your specific plan, I recommend checking with your benefits administrator.
I'm still not sure which option is right for me.
Every patient's situation is unique. If you're unsure whether insurance or self-pay is the best option, I'm happy to help you understand your choices before your first appointment so you can make the decision that's right for you.
